I work for a joint venture company name GE Keppel Energy Services Pte. Ltd. We cover and support all power generation work in Asia & sometimes the Middle East.

My job requires me to travel to places like Guam, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, USA, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei , China , Indonesia , Korea , Japan and so on.

I love my job very much as I get the opportunity to visit different power plants in many different places. Furthermore , I learn to understand that most countries  working practices and culture are different from Singapore.

I specialise in Non Destructive Evaluation on all Gas and Steam Turbine components. My job require me to ensure that all rotating and stationary components are free from cracks before our guys installed the parts back into operation.   

I always tell myself that whenever I travel to work in a foreign land, I will observe how the workers or people in the country behave. Like the saying goes, if you are in Rome, do what the Romans do, never and do not be a Smart Alex otherwise you get yourself into trouble. 

My principle in life is to " Work Hard and Play Hard " . Live life to the fullest , to me everyday when I wake up , I always thank God that he have given me another day to live and share my life with the people around me. 

Currently I'm attending a part time course , DMS-82 batch at SIM, I'm now in Semester 04 and this term it is very stressful as we have to do 3 projects which are Total Quality Management, Business Finance and this webpage that I'm struggling now. To know more about my course, click
